Cathnor 002 is a solo recording by Will Guthrie, the Australian percussionist now resident in Nantes, France recorded throughout 2005. Body and limbs still look to light is the result of many hours sculpting improvisations and other found sonic detritus into a work filled at once with both taut energy and an unnerving sense of calm. Following on from his 2005 masterpiece Spear, this new recording is both similar and completely different.
